| An old saw of photography says "f/8 and be there." There's a lot of truth to that: many photographs rely less on the technical wizardry of the photographer than on the sheer beauty of the subject matter. In these cases the job of the photographer is to be at the right place and the right time. And not screw up the exposure. I was staying with friends in Mendocino County in California and made sure to set my alarm to get up well before dawn. Right place ... right time ... for nature set out a delicious breakfast that morning. |
