| Quite often, less is more in photography. Throwing away unnecessary visual elements leads to simplicity. By moving in close for this shot, I eliminated all distracting elements and left a view that is about the texture and solidity of stone. Or maybe it's about the infinite plasticity of the Earth, evidenced here by the graphic forms and distinct tonalities I found. Either way, I like how the visual elements came together for me in a simple way. |
