| California's Gold Country in the Sierra foothills fascinates me. The rolling terrain, covered in golden grasses punctuated by green live oaks, just makes me feel sundrenched and peaceful. It somehow takes me back to days of childhood where I had nothing better to do than to gambol through the countryside. I tried to capture that sundrenched feeling in this print by using a yellow filter on the camera to lighten the grasses and make them almost glow. |
