Hoodoos and Cliffs,
Cedar Breaks National Monument, Utah

(order ID # CT35-00382)

Cedar Breaks National Monument is a giant bowl of eroding red rock set into the ground. The erosion results in an endless variety of shapes to treat the eye. If one is lucky enough to be present near sunset, as I was for this photograph, when the orange of the late afternoon light accentuates the color in the rocks, it's hard not to burn through rolls of film. I used a long lens to isolate interesting features out of the visual banquet set before me.
