| Avalanche Creek, located along the Going-to-the-Sun Road between Lake McDonald and Logan Pass, is the route of a pleasant hike from the road up to Avalanche Lake. The stream descends steeply in places, causing myriad burbling cascades that are wonderful to experience and to photograph. Here, I used a wide-angle lens to get close to the nearest falling water to add drama and to emphasize the merry splashing of the cascade. |
