| Even at the worst of times, Lake McDonald offers spectacular views of mountains, including the first view of the Continental Divide that many park visitors get. At the best of times the view is transcendent. I think the best vantage is found at the boat dock at Apgar Village. I made it there well before sunup on this morning, and was graced with magnificent cloud formations and a brilliant sunrise. |
