When the snowpack is melting, water will seep out of the very walls of some canyons. Even in late July there was enough snowmelt to make walls weep along the Virginia Creek trail in the St. Mary region of Glacier National Park. While I was concentrating on making photographs of the Creek itself, my wife found for me this subtle and out-of-the-way corner of beauty. |
