| A simple scene, so I kept the composition simple. I shot straight down on the delicate blossoms and used a diffuser to soften the harsh midday sunlight on this patch of ground. I used macro (close-up) equipment on my lens, but to be honest I forget if it was a close-up filter, an extension tube, or both. I also might have used a slight warming filter to accentuate the blossoms' color, but I forget that, too. I almost always remember the experience of making the photo, but my memory doesn't always trap the details of the execution. |
