| My friend and I were traipsing around in the southwestern Adirondacks in upstate New York. The surroundings were superb: lakes and streams curiously juxtaposed with cliffs and boulder fields, brilliant fall foliage, cool temperature, and few people. This was the last photo I took before we had to hightail it back to the car to make a dinner date. I used a polarizing filter to enhance the colors in the leaves and to suppress the reflections in the water. |
