| Nam-tso, the largest lake in Tibet, is a magnificent lake with bold turquoise water. I was hanging out on its Tashi Dor peninsula when I saw these nomadic riders along the lake's edge. I quickly put on my 105 mm lens to capture the riders as well as the lake and the mountains in the background. For me, this image captures a bygone era in Tibet: these riders in their traditional garb could have been making their sojourn hundreds of years ago and it would have looked the same. |
