| What a glorious sunset this was! A clearing storm left clouds in the sky, and the setting sun lit them amazingly. Gorgeous views in every direction changing second by second. . . a nature photographer should have such problems! Before this image I had been composing graphic silhouettes from the trees and boulders around. I heard, and then saw, a pair of hikers descending the slope I was paying attention to. I set up a view and then waited until the first hiker came into the scene. Waited, waited, until he was in just the right place, and then bang -- trip the shutter. No chance for a second shot with this moving subject. |
